Texas School District Boundaries and 2026 Ratings
1,016 Texas school district boundaries, each shaded by its 2026 A–F accountability rating from the Texas Education Agency, released 14 August 2026. 5,000,975 students. Every polygon carries the full domain breakdown behind the overall grade — Student Achievement, School Progress with its Academic Growth and Relative Performance components, and Closing the Gaps — plus enrolment, school count, superintendent and land area. This covers the 1,016 districts that have an attendance boundary. The 183 TEA districts not shown are almost all open-enrolment charters, which draw students from anywhere and therefore have no geographic area; the remainder are South Texas ISD, a multi-county magnet district, and two university-run schools. Boundaries are Census TIGER unified school districts joined to TEA on the NCES district identifier via AskTED. Geometry is simplified to about 70m for web display; use the TIGER original for measurement.
