Texas Lottery — Stores With Repeat Winners, and What They Sold
4,371 Texas lottery retailers that paid out two or more prizes of $10,000 or more since September 2020, each carrying what it actually sold: $18.94 billion in net sales against $2.04 billion in prizes. Circles are sized by number of winners. Colour is a luck index — prizes won divided by the number the store's own game mix predicts, so a shop selling mostly Daily 4 is not credited for a game that pays $50,000 on a $1 bet. Grey means the store has too few prizes for the ratio to carry information; only 82 retailers in Texas clear that bar, and the best of them is 2.97x, not 20x. The lowest scores are as telling as the highest: the two floor values belong to the retailers behind the April 2023 bulk purchase of 99% of all Lotto Texas combinations, where huge sales produced almost no separate claims. Sales from Texas Lottery Sales by Fiscal Month/Year, Game and Retailer; prizes from the Winners List of Texas Lottery Prizes. Both published by the Texas Comptroller.
