Texas Land Market Areas (all 33)
All 33 Land Market Areas used by Texas A&M's Real Estate Research Center for rural land reporting — the finer geography beneath the seven rural land regions. TRERC publishes these only as a numbered map image, with no shapefile or county list, so each LMA was selected county-by-county in QGIS against that map. All 254 Texas counties are assigned, each to exactly one LMA, and every LMA nests inside exactly one region — an independent check, since the region boundaries were derived separately. LMA sizes run from El Paso County alone (LMA 33) to 14 counties around Harris (LMA 28). Coloured by parent region. NOTE: price fields carry the parent REGION's Q1 2026 figures, not LMA-level values; TRERC publishes LMA data annually and separately. Source: Texas Real Estate Research Center, Texas A&M University.
