DFW New Construction by County, 2015–2026
New-construction projects registered with TDLR in each DFW-area county, by year. Every Texas construction project costing $50,000 or more must register with the state, so this tracks building activity rather than permits or announcements. Collin County passed Dallas County in 2023 and has stayed ahead. Points sit at each county seat, not at project sites — TABS search records carry no street address. Fields new_2015 … new_2026 hold the count for each year.
